FHE Legos

When we have FHE, everyone has a part to do. Today, Micah was in charge of the activity. He wasn't sure what to do, so he went to his dad. His dad gave him a good idea. A type of cranium activity involving legos. We were to construct a scene from the scriptures with the legos and then guess who was in the scene.

See if you can guess.

1)
2)
3)
4)
How'd you do?

Ready for the answers?

1) Jonah swallowed by a whale. (Tyler)

2) Noah's ark (Micah)

3) King Benjamen on his tower (Malie)

4) Ammon after he cut off the thieves' arms (Kara)

#4 was my personal favorite. So here's an idea if you're in need of one for FHE. It was fun.

What My Kids Do on a Sunday

When my kids are bored on a Sunday, they get real creative with what to do.

Kara loves to sew. She took my scrap pieces of fabric and hand sewed these stuffed animals herself. I thought that that was so cute and awesome that she did that all by herself.

This is how Tyler expresses his creativity sometimes. It was actually kind of funny when he first showed us his creation. I don't remember what he called it.

How creative do your kids get on a Sunday?

Night Time Routine

I recently went back to work. I was a little worried about how the baby was going to do without me. My wonderful husband used his own technique. Almost every night I'm gone (2x's/week), after the baby's been fed and bathed. Randy rocks him back and forth while they watch some sort of U.H. sport on TV.

He looks like he's drifting from this angle.

Apparently, it works every time. It would probably work on me as well, seeing as I don't like to watch sports myself.

We finally had a Court of Honor and Tyler was able to be recognized for achieving the rank of 2nd Class.

Keep it up Tyler!

Conner's Birthday Get Together

We had a last minute get-together for Conner's birthday. Those are my favorite! Conner is such a cutie. We celebrated his 4th birthday. These kids are just growing up so fast.

Aunty Julie (Conner's mom) made the cake. It was GOOD! Wish I had some now.

Here's another angle.

See Conner. He kept hiding from me.

One more good look at that cake. Mmmmmmmm.

Here's the usual gather around the table. We always have a good time.

Leigh took this picture. She edited it as well. Fun.

Raiden waiting with his ice-cream.

The three amigos.

Happy Birthday Conner!!!

Chapel Clean Up

Ward conference this weekend. So Saturday was ward clean-up day. We had a pretty good turn out. A lot of the priesthood went to clean up one of the back roads in Kahuku, while the rst of us beautified our chapel.

Tyler getting our louvers clean and sparkly.
I think these three were cleaning. Watch out. Kara has an itchy trigger finger.

After we were all done, we had a seat while we waited for the priesthood to return.

After a long while, we decided we would save them a plate, so we jumped in line.

Jace was being passed around the whole time. He's kind of the ward baby.

Time to eat.

We had the usual, portugese sausage, eggs, rice, the stuff we love.

Mari and Dezzie.

It was fun to be together as a ward.

Baby Jace

We're testing out Picasa. So, please enjoy this picture of baby Jace. Here are some things we've come to love about Jace:

1) If you can make him smile, he'll show you his dimples.
2) He likes it when you stand and carry him.
3) He loves playing patty-cake.
4) He likes it when you hold his hand.
5) He's happy in the mornings.
6) He's got cute feet and hands (that are huge BTW).
7) He loves bath time.
8) He's cute even when he cries. He has the cutest sad face.
9) He has the best cheeks for pinching and kissing.
10) He has big, dark eyes.

**Down below are more posts. I will be adding more posts. Still trying to figure out this Picasa program. It's the only way I can get pictures onto my blog, so bear with me.
