Baby Shower --- I feel so LOVED!

All my sisters-in-law and mother-in-law threw me a baby shower. It was hosted by Jan, and as I expected, she did such an awesome job! They all did. It was exactly how I pictured it would be, from the food to the decorations. The shower was perfect.

Here's the spread. The food was sooooo good!! Of course I had to try everything.

All the decor matched.

U'i, trying to guess how many diapers in the diaper bag.

Teri took care of the games. She did a great job with that.

This was one of the games. Each group had to construct a baby according the instructions we were given.

This was our group's.

This was the classic "memory" game. Teri put a twist on it afterwards, where after guessing and knowing each item, we had to remember what brand each item was.

Checking out the cute presents people brought.

My mother-in-law bought this one. It's so cute. I'm so excited to be having a Halloween baby.

DIAPERS!!!!! ---------------- It's been a while.

Everyone who made it to the shower. I wished everyone could have come, but those who didn't were still so sweet to give me a gift. A lot of the gifts were brown and blue, which are the colors I chose for the shower.

This is Teri's gift for the baby. All the items from the game. The duck is actually a baby tub. Too cute!

Kara snapped a picture of the water bottles that Jan decorated and the favor boxes.

Jan made some of these.

There's all the pictures together.

U'i, Jen (her baby), and I at the end. I was so glad they were able to come. These are the ladies who ran the Aloha Run with me (which I didn't know I was pregnant at the time).

I feel so blessed with all the friends and family who have helped me get ready for this baby. It's been a while but thanks to all of you, I feel good to go. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Randy!

We helped Randy celebrate his birthday today. We love our dad and all that he does for us! We were more than happy to celebrate anyway he wanted.

Originally, we were set to go out to eat at Gyotaku on Monday, but Randy didn't want to deal with being out on a school night so far from home, so we opted for Zippy's on a Saturday night. I agree with him, that probably would've been too hectic for us. So we jumped in the car and headed over to the Mililani Zippy's. It was so nice and relaxing for all of us. The kids enjoyed themselves as well as the birthday boy.

Leigh and her daddy.

Kara enjoying the night out.

Tyler and mom waiting for our order.

Randy relaxing while we prep the cake with candles.

Micah making sure we cut it just right.

Mmmmmm. Looks good.

After dinner we headed over to the bakery. We took home a Chantilly cake to top off the night. It was a lot of fun.

Happy Birthday Randy!!

Cross Hill Hike

Another hike for Tyler. This time it was at Cross Hill, which you could walk to from our house. Tyler was joined by another boy who started coming to scouts.

That's pretty steep.

There's Kahuku!

There's a bunker at the top. I've never been up there, but I've heard a lot about this bunker from my kids.

Tyler, Kapahu and Bro. Burkhart making sure they know which way is north.

It was definitely hot and humid.

Labor Day Fun!!

We gotta call from Kyle saying head to Kakela for Labor Day. We weren't going to miss out on a day that was to be spent at the beach with great friends from college. We were so there! The awesome part too was that Kakela was only 10 minutes from our house (YES!).

The kids jumped right on in. Tyler was having fun with the waves. He was glad he brought his board. Randy and Tyler were out there all morning.

Some of the kids played in the sand.

Randy and I catching up with Jill.

Uncle Aaron catching some Zzzzzzzz's on the beach.

U'i and Tina getting some sun.

Raiden and Taizo. We were suprised and happy to see that they came to join the fun.

Jett catching a wave.

All the kids that were there.

Not all of us who went to college were there, but as you can tell, we still had a good turn out.

All the of us watching the kids while they pose.

Say "B-Y-U!"

We were there from 10am till 6:30pm. Besides camping, that's probably the longest we've ever stayed at the beach. Needless to say, we were sunburnt and tired, but it was so much fun catching up with everyone!
