Turkey Trot 2010

Micah and his class getting ready to run their Turkey Trot Race.

Kara and her gang.
Run, Kara, Run!!

Go Micah!!

Micah placed 5th for the 2nd graders.

The cool 6th graders patiently watch everyone do their races while they wait for their turn. I didn't have one of Tyler's grade running cause it was just all a blur when I shot the picture ;)

How Many Kids Does It Take . . .

to dress the baby for church. I thought it was so cute that this little baby had three of his older siblings trying to dress him for church.

The big 1-0 for Kara

Today was Kara's birthday and she's turning the big 1-0. All she wanted to do was have her BFF over and go to the movies. A very simple request and easy to grant.

Kara posing with Jace.

BFF's totally. Kara invited her bestest friend to sleepover for her birthday. Randy took all the kids to the movies for Kara's birthday while I stayed at home with the baby.

Kara was very specific about her cake. Chocolate with whipped cream in between and chocolate frosting. It actually tasted like a giant Ding Dong. Very Yummy. Kara is our sweet, quiet one. She's very creative and does very well in school. She's a great big sister to Jace. She is very funny too, making us laugh. We love you Kara!
Happy Birthday!!!!!!

Washing Dishes

Kara had asked if her friend could come over to play. I told as soon as we got the dishes done, she could have a friend over. When I came into the kitchen later, this is what I found. Too cute. I had to take a picture. Yes, she was washing the dishes.

Rainbow Invitational

Leigh took a break from volleyball this year and decided to try something new. She was invited to try colorguard. The high school team allows for the intermediate kids to join. She's loved it since her first practice and seems to be pretty good at it. Her competitions started right when the baby was born, so we hadn't been able to go to any. This was the last competition for the season, so we made sure to go to this one.

Inside Aloha Stadium. All the schools are sitting directly opposite of us.

Kara, Kena, and Micah keeping themselves entertained while they wait for the performance to start.

Not sure if you can see her, but Leigh is on the far right.

Leigh and Sarah, the two lone color guards for the Kahuku High and Intermediate School Band. You guys did an awesome job! Let me just say that to get this picture was quite a hassle, but for memories sake, I got it. After their performance, I dragged my whole family around the stadium twice, before we figured out where Leigh was. When we got there, security only allowed one of us to go see Leigh. Of course, I was the one who went. I'm so glad I did.

Home from the Hospital

After two days in the hospital, Jace and I went home. Believe it or not, we actually forgot our camera when I went in to deliver him. Randy did get some on his phone (thankfully), so I'll post those later. I was glad to go home and be settled.

I had bought this outfit for him that said, "My First Halloween". Because he was so huge, he didn't get to wear it because it didn't fit.

After Randy left to come get me, the girls and the Hippolites came and decorated our house for us. I was so touched that they did that.

The kids were excited to have him home.

Looks like he's settling in just fine.
