Laie, Hawaii Temple Tour

After waiting for 18 months, the temple is finally ready. We are so thankful for this opportunity that our kids have to go in and see the Laie, Hawaii Temple. It is special to us because that's where Randy and I were married, my parents and Randy's parents, along with my sister. The kids couldn't wait for this visit.

Waiting in the tents for directions of how the tour will go.

We were instructed to go to another tent, where we watched a 10 min. video on what to expect.

Going up the covered walkway to the temple entrance.

Everyone's ready. Of course at this point, the cameras had to be turned off. The kids enjoyed the tour, seeing the different room. I think the favorite was the baptismal font. My favorite part was being in the Celestial room with my husband and all my children. It made me smile. My other favorite part was that we were taken into the sealing room that Randy and I were sealed in.
After the tour, we went into another tent where there were refreshments.

It was a great start to our day. Also a good way to kill time while we are waiting for our newest arrival. We are so thankful that families can be together forever!
