Setting up camp with our new EZ corner.
Playing with our friends on the swing nearby,
Catching crabs and seeing how long they survive in a bucket of old sea water.
Getting together with friends to go fishing in the river.
Enjoying the beautiful scenery in the morning.
Cooking outdoors. That was probably my favorite thing (believe it or not). In that cup, we had pineapple upside down cake cooking.
More fishing!
Winning toilet paper at the Ward Auction night! Wohoo!
Going crabbing at night with dad, even "funner"!
More ward activities at night. It was awesome!
Playing with fire when mom and dad weren't looking.
Haning out on the beach.
Riding the jet ski's. Jumping those waves was so much fun! Yes, I did ride the jet skis in my pregnant state.
More playing with friends. This swing was a favorite.
Walking on the beach.
Wactching the sunrise.
Taking naps in the tent.
The penny carnival.
The BEST thing about camp was EVERYTHING!!! From beginning to end, it was fun. Very exhausting, but well worth it.Of course the worst thing about camp was the scare we had from Micah on the last day. Long story short, he climbed a tree that was about 50ft high. On the way down, he fell (from about 20ft), hitting two branches, landing right on his stomach, and was knocked unconscious. Luckily, he fell on sand. He didn't remember anything. So we took him to the ER, where, other than a concussion, he was given a clean bill of health. We were so thankful that he didn't get any more hurt than the did. Slowly, his memory came back and this what Micah had to say, "I remembered that I forgot that you told me not to climb that tree."
Kids --- you gotta love them! We do!
