Invite over cousins, yeah, that would be cool!
Building marble tracks high, in every which way.
The girls get to work, they head straight for their tasks,
Painting finger and toenails, and donning face masks.
Searching for creatures and combing the reef.
The two older boys return from their hunt
Splashing and running, doing all sorts of stunts.
Splashing and running, doing all sorts of stunts.
They never get tired, the beach is never a bore.
What's this? Monkeys. Yes, that's what they are!
Some of them are even hanging from the trees.
Trying to get sea grapes. Get down from there please!
We headed out the door, for a late afternoon stroll,
Temple Beach is where we decided to go.
All the kids seemed to enjoy being with each other.
Not one of them fought, not one sister or brother.

Half-way through, they all stopped to be silly,
For some, it took effort, for others, not really.
The kids were standing together all huddled,
Around the infamous jelly-fish, aka "blue bubble".
RT the great hunter, he caught a small crab.
That's really something, because they're hard to grab.
On your mark, get set, ready --- go!
They run back from Hukilau, not one of them slow.

After 10 games of bowling, we high-fived the other team,
Called it quits for the day, and had some ice-cream!

Eeeww, look, "what is that?!", you say.
Well, we think it's an eel, smells like it's been there a day.
Before getting in the van to get Uncle Randy,
We rinsed off real good, cause we were all sandy.
Back the next day, for more sand and more surf.
We were out for 2 hours, it was just us on that turf.
Because two weren't enough, we called in more cousins.
Kids were everywhere, there must have been a dozen.
There's Jett with his parents, getting ready his stance,
Green ball in his hand, he's got one more chance.
Each kid had a turn, with that ball to roll,
They'd do so with skill, a strike was the goal.
Taizo making sure that each ball was good.

Raiden with a smile, for this picture he stood.Well, we think it's an eel, smells like it's been there a day.

Not bad Malie Seuss!!! Wow, what a fun-filled day! Looks like you had a lot of energy that day.
That was actually a span of three days.
Sheesh girl - you're so creative! What a cute post!
OHHH! I miss Hawaii! I seem to remember you writing some poem about a beating heart (with some other fancy medical term) for Pres. Shumway's emglish class. I guess what he was teaching you has been put to good use!
