Move over Van Gogh, watch out Michaelangelo, Kara Sasaki is making her public debut as an artist! This year, we were excited to hear that Kara's art teacher selected one of her art pieces to be displayed in the District Art Show. Last year Tyler was in it. Their school had their own art show on Mar. 24th (which I wasn't aware of). Tyler and Kara both had pieces that were displayed, but just Kara this time was selected. Her piece was a representation of "Resist". We all went down yesterday to view it. It was fun. They had refreshments and everything. Art is definitely an inherit trait in our family stemming from the Miyashiro side (Randy's mom's side). Thank you Grandma Jane. Congratulations Kara, well done!

What a great artist! That is great work. I'm sure she's so excited. Too cool!
She is so talented. You know it explains why she is so shy. She waits for her art to do her talking for her. True artists are like that. Its a great piece of work. Yeah Kara!!!
That is so cool, Kara! Keep it up.
