Christmas at Home

We returned home very late from our Christmas Eve get-to-together with family. No problems getting the kids to sleep. Our problem was trying to transport them from the van to their beds. LOL. After getting them tucked in, I finished the last of the presents and went to bed. Randy and I didn't go to bed until about 1:30am, so we were not ready at 5:30am when our kids came bursting in our room asking us to come open presents. We made them wait till the sun came up at least. We joined the kids, had prayer and then began opening up gifts. It was fun. The kids were happy and so were we. Micah probably had the most unique gift this year. We had asked him a couple of weeks ago what he wanted Santa to bring him. He non-chalantly said, "Surprise me." Really, surprise you. I said, "No, really, what do you want Santa to bring you." "Just surprise me." OK.

This is what we got him.

His name is "Fish Sticks". He was surprised, and so were his siblings. He seems to love his fish. Merry Christmas!

Oh fishsticks is adorable Micah. When I told Lupe you got a fish for christmas just like hers, her first response was "No Way!", followed by "That is so awesome mom". I'm sure if Lupe could arrange it, she would want to have a fishy get together so Fishsticks could meet Sparkles. Sounds like it was a fun christmas guys!!!
